Holiday Look

For my holiday party with family and friends I decided to do a sort of copper gold, smokey brown look with neutral lips using mac siss!

Nails,Nails,Nails!

Hey everyone!
I have major nail problems! I got artificial nails done once and my nails were ruined! They started to peel and become super thin! I've tried many things and it's just not working. So i decided to try some artificial do it yourself nails and here they are. Unfortunately I threw the box out before I could write this post but I think they might be from the French Kiss brand but not really sure. Anyways here are the pros and cons:
Pros:

• Look pretty
• Don't damage nails as much as acrylic nails
• CHEAP! Only 7$

Cons:

• Break easily
• Lasts only a week
• You get air bubbles that fill with water

To solve the air bubbles problem, I just painted over the french tip and nail with my revlon navy blue nail polish.

I would recommend these artificial nails for people who want to have nice nails for maybe the weekend and don't want to spend all the money getting their nails done at the salon!

Shoes to die for!

Hello my loves!

Ain't she pretty :)

It pains me to say this but I cannot wear platforms or high heels for the life of me! It makes me very sad. So for my fascination and love for shoes, I live vicariously through my cousin! She is so beautiful and has awesome legs! She can wear any shoes and they look so nice on her. I wanted to share some pictures of these amazing platform shoes she bought at payless for 50$ Isn't that just the greatest deal!

Neutral Makeup and Sweet Treats

Hey:)

I did a neutral eye look yesterday, thought I'd post a few pictures. I mixed a bunch of stuff, mainly a lighter foundation and a few darker browns in the crease using the coastal scents, 88 Warm Palette. 

AND, since midterms are done but finals are starting soon, I decided to treat myself to a special treat. I have a BIG SWEET TOOTH! So my best friend and I went to a really cute cupcake boutique, and we indulged on 4 flavors of cupcakes. It was heaven.

November Favorites!

Hi!

It's almost the end of November! I'm so excited for the holidays to get started! I love going shopping and seeing all the beautiful decorations and the way the city's lights make everything look like a winter wonderland at night!

After I watched Farah Dhukai's video on youtube about how to get healthy shiny hair, I decided I would try her method of using almond oil. I put it on the day before I wash my hair, and OMG! It makes my hair so soft! I also feel like it's helping with the dandruff. In love with this.

 The next item is also a hair product which is a leave-in conditioner. Its the Aveeno Positively Nourishing Leave-in conditioner. I spray a small amount on my damaged ends, and it makes my hair softer and shiner. I also use it on my mom, she has colored hair, which is super dry, and when I spray this on before I blow dry it, it makes her hair manageable, and soft.

On to beauty products!

Red lips are the new trend right now! I found the perfect shade of red! Its Revlon Really Red lipstick! Its a matte finish, it has good staying power and is very pigmented. Something about wearing red lipstick makes me feel powerful.

And finally, my latest find! I've been wearing neutral eye makeup to school lately, and I found the perfect crease color. It's maybelline Creme de Cacao. Its this dark brown color that is the perfect color for my medium skin tone. I just love it. It gives me that definition without being too harsh. It's not very pigmented, but that is something I wanted. Plus I got it on sale for $2.50. Can't beat that!
